In the heart of the Louron Valley, Chalet Ancienne Poste serves as a tranquil sanctuary amidst the stunning French Pyrenees. This historic chalet, originally built in 1864 as the village postal lodge, has been meticulously restored to blend traditional charm with contemporary comfort. Original features such as exposed beams and stonework have been preserved, offering guests a cosy yet spacious environment.

EXQUISITE DINING EXPERIENCE
Our half-board arrangement includes a daily continental breakfast and a four-course evening meal with wine and coffee for six nights. Prepared by our in-house chef, the menu features a variety of local and international dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Although all dietary requirements are catered for upon request, one night a week is reserved for guests to explore local dining options.
OUTDOOR DELIGHTS & ECO - FRIENDLY PRACTICES
The chalet's private garden and balcony provide idyllic settings for enjoying the breath taking mountainous backdrop during the warmer months. In line with our eco-conscious ethos, we strive to minimise our carbon footprint by recycling, using sustainable materials in our renovations, and maintaining energy-efficient heating systems. To help preserve the indoor environment, we ask guests to wear slippers or thick socks inside, as outdoor footwear is not allowed.
